Hello

My name is Michael Dorsey.  I was born and raised in Louisville, Kentucky.  I went to Indiana University (IU) in Bloomington, Indiana where I was initiated into the Zeta Epsilon chapter in Spring of 1976.  I served for 2 years as the Keeper of Finance in the ZE chapter as Dog #11 of the “13 Ministers of the Supreme Rap”.  I graduated from IU in December 1979 with a BA in Accounting.  I worked for Coopers & Lybrand (now PricewaterhouseCoopers) after graduating for 3½ years where I completed the necessary requirements to become a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).   I currently have an active CPA license to practice in the state of California.

I moved to California in July of 1997 and became a member of the Pi Rho chapter where I served as Keeper of Finance along with assisting with the incorporation of the GLG Science Education and Community Services Association (GLG).  I served as Treasurer for 2 years on the Board of GLG and currently serve as an advisor.  Presently, I am a member of the Omega Mun Nu chapter located in Lake Elsinore, CA.

 

I love music (Neo Soul, R&B, old school RAP, Jazz, Gospel, Contemporary Christian, POP, Country, etc.), travel, cooking and eating delicious food, and attending live concerts/plays.
