 Marcus Jackson entered Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. on March 21, 2025, as a member of the Omega Mu Nu Chapter, Lake Elsinore, CA. He hails from Georgiana, AL., where he graduated from Georgiana High School in June 1992 and shortly thereafter enlisted in the United States Navy. Marcus served 26 years in the U.S. Navy as an Information Systems Technician, qualifying as an Enlisted Information Dominance Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Surface Warfare Specialist, Enlisted Air Warfare Specialist, and Naval Parachute Jumper, also earning various unit and campaign awards. He retired honorably in 2018 at the rank of E8/SCPO.

 

Marcus is married to his wife, Sandra Jackson, and lives in Eastvale, CA. He received his AS in Information Technology and Network Services (ITNS) from Laurus College in June 2022, earning Summa Cum Laude honors, and his BS in Information Technology Systems Management (ITSM) from Laurus College, earning Magna Cum Laude honors as well in April 2024. Currently, he is pursuing his Cybersecurity Specialist Certification at ICOHS College in San Diego, CA.

 

Marcus is a proud member of the Prince Hall Masonic Order and several of its appendant bodies, with over 25 years of service, and is also an active member of NAACP Branch #1034 in Lake Elsinore, CA, serving on the membership committee. He enjoys motorcycling, having completed eleven cross-country rides to date, computers, gaming, working on cars, and spending time with family and friends.
