James Simpson has been married to Celina Simpson for over 28 years. They have three children (all boys) ages 24, 26,& 29 all of whom have college degrees. James has a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and has had a career in engineering for over 25 years. James has been a member of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. a historically black fraternity that was founded in 1911 at Howard University since 1996. He has held several leadership positions over the years and is currently the Basileus (president) of Omega Mu Nu Chapter. He has been an Elder and member at New Life Christian Fellowship for over 24 years. And also is the President of the ‘IKE Mob High School Reunion Committee for Community Outreach. Through the various organizations, James is involved in several outreach programs, including ministry outreach, feeding the homeless, STEM outreach, and voter registration drives, blood drives, clothing give away, 2-local mayoral campaigns, as well fatherhood initiatives and mentoring.
